Cognitive behavioral therapy is what most folks of think of when they hear talk therapy. It is noticing logical fallacies and pitfalls and rewriting those scripts. However, many neurodivergent minds process things through different perspectives. In our sessions, CBT is used as a reference point, one that can be altered to best suit your unique mind.
Sex work/ kink/BDSM/ poly affirming therapy
With a background in queer sexual health education both in academic settings and in community oriented spaces, such as play parties and kink events, I foster an environment of non-judgment and curious exploration.
Relational
We are two human beings just humaning in the space together. We will be both be imperfect in the space and that is part of the work. I deeply value relationships with my clients as both innately valuable and therapeutically beneficial.
Existential
Existentialism is a philosophy that believes life has no inherent meaning centering individual interpretation, values, and agency. This means creating space for meaning making around life, death, loss, transitions, harm, and unanswerable questions.
